Did You Know? Weston’s Current Vaccination Statistics

Weston now has 45% of its residents vaccinated with at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, according to the latest Massachusetts Department of Public Health data published on April 8. The percentage of Weston’s population that has been fully vaccinated is now 28%.

On Monday, April 5, vaccination appointments were opened to residents aged 55+ or with one or more of certain medical conditions. The final phase, Phase 3, will open on April 19, 2021, when residents 16+ are all eligible for the vaccine.
In addition, New Hampshire will open vaccination appointments to Massachusetts residents on April 19. The NH Governor Chris Sununu had been under some pressure to open vaccination appointments for out-of-state college students there. It is expected that anyone who wants to make the trip to the Granite State will be accommodated, which is good news for those who are tired of patrolling for vaccination appointments at cvs.com at 6 am.
All residents should pre-register for Massachusetts-administered vaccines here.
