Last Day to Sign Up for Waltham Boys & Girls Club Virtual Gala April 29

The Waltham Boys & Girls Club is hosting a virtual gala titled “Whatever It Takes” on April 29 to support its mission as a safe place to learn and grow – all while having fun. Club programs and services promote and enhance the development of young people by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging, and influence.
This year, the Gala will honor Waltham Restaurateur Joe Nocera and recognize the achievements of Waltham Boys & Girls Club member Jeffrey Serrano Sanchez. Mr. Nocera is a third-generation owner of the Chateau restaurant in Waltham and a generous supporter of local youth endeavors. Jeffrey Serrano Sanchez was named the 2021 Waltham Boys & Girls Club Youth of the year, having grown from a shy 6-year-old to a peer leader, currently as a senior at Waltham High School. You can learn more about the honorees and the presenters here.
Weston has a long-time relationship with Waltham Boys & Girls Club–a fundraiser led by several residents last November resulted in $10,000 raised for the organization. The Owl will be following up on that story in a future edition.
Purchase your gala tickets by midnight tonight, April 21.
