It’s Senior Night for Weston HIgh School Lacrosse

Tonight, Weston High School Lacrosse fans, friends, and teammates say thank you and so long to the seniors. Many of these “kids” have played lacrosse in Weston since elementary school and their energy and leadership will be missed. The community is invited to attend the ceremony at 6:30 pm at Proctor Field, followed by a game against Bedford at 7 pm.

There are 17 seniors out of 40 kids in the program. Termed as “one big family,” varsity and junior varsity teams play together until game time. The three captains are Christos Iatridis, Colin Delduchetto, and Jackson Tabors and the coaches are Jim Wilcon, Michael Brown and Rich Leger.
Reached by email this morning, Coach Wilcon commented: “I love these Seniors -they are special kids, and have been a huge part of our success this year and for the past four years!”
“We hope Weston really comes out tonight to cheer on these seniors, and the whole team, especially in this year that has been tough on high school students, said Wilcon. “Our last regular-season game is Monday–they’ll be seeding the State tournament on Wednesday so we’ll see where we go from there.”
When Weston last met Bedford, they had a win of 12-1 so the coaches are hopeful for tonight’s results. Weston Lacrosse currently has an 8-3 record. Go ‘cats.
