Children’s Sports Equipment Swap This Saturday – Donations Sought

Have you been sorting through your kids’ sports equipment? Wondering what to do with it all since the swap shed is currently closed? Ever thought “hey, I wish I didn’t have to buy xyz new when my kid will probably only want to play that sport for 4.5 minutes?” (that last one is me). Weston Community Children’s Association has the answer for you!!

Gather up all your used sports stuff this week and bring it over to the donation bin in the Community Center (inside, across from the Recreation Dept doors). I dropped off a bunch of soccer, hockey, tennis and Weston Wildcats gear this morning, and I wasn’t the first to get there today! Please donate items only in good or like-new condition. The WCCA is looking for items like baseball bats, gloves, soccer balls, bike helmets, etc. No exercise equipment please.

Then come visit the WCCA Sports Equipment Swap on Saturday, August 28 from 11-3 next to Lamson Park. (Rain date: Sunday, August 29 from 11-3).

Please contact with any questions.
