Happy Thanksgiving and Vacation Hold for the Owl

The Weston Owl is going to take a few days off to enjoy good food, family, and apparently, freezing weather. Yes, it’s called a vacation hold until Monday, November 29. I wish you all the best of warmth, gratitude, and good cheer.

Don’t forget that the Weston – Wayland Thanksgiving game is ON as usual—this time at 10 am Thursday at Wayland High School. Go ‘cats!

The Weston-Wayland Rotary Club is selling beautiful Christmas trees at the magically lit and decorated space across from the Golden Ball Tavern starting this Friday — Black Friday — and continuing on Saturdays and Sundays, plus Thursday and Friday evenings. Specific info is on this website.

The Mass Horticultural Society Festival of Trees also begins on Friday at Elm Bank…reserve your tickets here: https://www.masshort.org.

And one of my favorite museums re-opens this Friday: the Harvard Natural History Museum. You now need to reserve your spot to visit Rockefeller’s 150,000 (dead) beetles. And the dusty stuffies. https://hmnh.harvard.edu

Happy Thanksgiving!
