Christmas Trees and Some Singing Too Tonight

The Weston-Wayland Rotary Club continues its Christmas tree sales this afternoon/evening and has invited special carol-singing guests to sing the trees on their merry way. Christmas tree sales start at 4:30 pm, but if you want to hear St. Peter’s Acapella Choir, you’ll want to arrive between 6 and 6:30 (performance begins at 6:30 pm). Sip on some hot chocolate, and pick out a tree to take home for your very own (delivery to Weston addresses is also a possibility for an additional fee).

Most trees are 6′-8′ and there are some 10′, 12′, and one 14′ tree.  The Rotary Club has (or had, because sales started last week) 300+ balsam trees, along with 14″, 16″, & 20″ Balsam wreaths.

The Rotary Club will use proceeds from the tree sales to benefit several charities: Middlesex Human Services, including Bristol Lodge, local food pantries, need-based college scholarships in Weston and Wayland, and other Rotary Club community service projects.

Can’t make it tonight? Christmas tree sales hours are Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am – 6 pm plus Thursday and Friday evenings from 4:30 – 7:30 pm. Location: First Baptist Church of Weston, 657 Boston Post Road, across from the Golden Ball Tavern.   For more information, please contact: Rotary Club of Weston & Wayland: http://www.westonwaylandrotary.com or by email to president@westonwaylandrotary.org
