The Weston Educational Enrichment Fundraising Committee announced this morning that the $80,000 fundraising goal for the fall had been met, and that the participation challenge was won by Country School. 35% of Country School families donated, while Field School came in a close second at 33% and will be provided with free pretzels. No, not really.

The reward for Country School will be an ice cream truck pulling up for a par-TAY sometime this spring. The Owl is waiting for her invitation since after all, public relations professionals do get some benefits. Cake would be fine too.
