Meet Your Neighbors At the Weston Public Library: Thursdays

The Weston Public Library, also known as one of the seven wonders of Weston, has a new program this winter that is designed to bring a little social back into your life. Meet Your Neighbors, held every Thursday evening from 7 pm – 8 pm through February 24, is a casual social hour (minus drinks and apps) in the Reading Room at the Library.

Imagine this: you can be in the Reading Room talking (!!) and no one will shush you. If you have never been in the Reading Room at WPL, you are missing out–it’s a lovely place to read, do puzzles, work or write poetry (remember when they had all the words cut out of magazines to make poetry? so fun). And now, for one hour a week, you can be social.

Winter is isolating. Covid is isolating. Come on out, alone or with a friend or family member, and meet some new friends or catch up with old friends.

No registration is necessary but masks are required. Note that you do not have to be a Weston resident to join in.

The Weston Public Library is at 87 School Street.
