Easter Egg Hunt (Minus Bunny) at First Parish Church on Easter Sunday

Is this town big enough to have not one but TWO Easter Egg Hunts? Of course it is! There is always more room for candy. On the other hand, there is only one Spring Easter Bunny and he/she will be on Town Green on Saturday, but will not be at First Parish Church on Sunday because apparently, that is not part of the Universalist Church tradition. Oh, relax, everyone, Reverend Jeff is quite used to me making cracks though you may want to step back from me if you see a lightning storm coming.
Anyway, First Parish has promised chocolate and is opening up their Sunday Hunt for all ages and abilities. What could possibly go wrong? Here’s the marketing pitch:
Sunday April 17, 2022 11:30 am – 12:30 pm. Come one, come all! Chocolate-lovers (of every age and ability!) are invited to join First Parish Church for a traditional Easter egg hunt.
When the dewdrops appear on Easter morning, dozens upon dozens of eggs mysteriously emerge with them, tucked into corners of our playground and hidden under toys and tables… We need your help to track them all down! There will be eggs scattered throughout the fenced-in portion of the First Parish playground behind the building for folks to discover and enjoy.
You are warmly invited to our Easter service beforehand at 10:30 AM, but you do not have to attend worship to participate in the egg hunt. All are welcome!
