Weston Garden Club Tour Tickets Now Available

Weston Garden Club has announced that tickets are now available for their tour of Weston gardens on June 4. There will be 11 gardens open for visitation from 10 am – 4 pm on that day. You can ooh and aah over native plants, pollinator gardens, possibly even visiting pollinators, garden rooms, water features and all that good garden-y stuff.
I personally have high hopes that we will actually be feeling spring weather by June. This morning for Arbor Day, April 29, 2022, the thermostat on my car read 44 degrees and that wasn’t even with the wind chill. Wake up, New England, and smell the spring air. Given how things go around here, we will probably have 95 degrees by June and I will get to complain about that as well.
Back to gardens (oh, and don’t forget to get your own personal seedlings at The Food Project in Lincoln–sales close on Monday, May 3): Garden Tour Program pick-up and day-of-tour sales begin at 9:30 a.m. on June 4 at the Josiah Smith Tavern, 358 Boston Post Road. Tickets are $20 in advance & $25 day of the tour. Advance tickets can be purchased here: https://westongardenclub.org/PayPal.
Again, gardens are open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. so no cocktail hour among the rhodis. Maybe next year.
