“Miss Delta Township”: Newton Nomadic Theatre at the AIC Friday and Saturday

For two nights only, Friday May 13 and Saturday May 14, we shall have humor in this town…not to mention a wonderful story-teller. Join the Newton Nomadic Theater at the Weston Art & Innovation Center for Joanne Callum Powers’ uproarious one woman show, Miss Delta Township.
From the marketing materials:
Can your story be a coming-of-age tale when you’ve already reached a certain age? Miss Delta Township answers that question with a story of trying to fit fantastical dreams into an ordinary life. You can read more about the show in a write-up on the small and local Cape Cod Chronicle.
Here are some reviews, also from said marketing materials:
“Powers has created a story which is fast, hilarious, surprising and deeply moving.”
“I loved the show! It was a wonderful mixture of humor, poignancy and wisdom, all beautifully acted.”
“I quickly fell into her achingly beautiful world. A tour de force!”
Seating is limited! Support local theater.
Friday and Saturday May 13 and May 14 from 7:30-9 pm at the Weston Art & Innovation Center, 356 Boston Post Road.
Tickets may be purchased here.***
You will have TWO opportunities to see Miss Delta Township, Friday and Saturday evenings, both at 7:30 PM. I haven’t see it, but I hear it is fun.
Ooops Somehow missed the Friday night performance. I will edit. Thank you for letting me know. Two nights for humor in Weston.
