March for Our Lives Rally at First Parish Today, Saturday June 11

Yesterday, the Owl sat down at the Weston Bistro with Weston’s new Chief of Police, Denis Linehan. While that interview will publish next week, I will say that one of the topics was school safety. And the fact that we even have to talk about this makes me not sleep at night–and folks, I lived in São Paulo for nine years–ostensibly one of the most dangerous cities in the world. Where do I worry more for my Owlets? I try not to answer that. In any case, the Owl received word of this event today.

On Saturday, June 11, communities throughout the nation will hold March for Our Lives rallies in support of common-sense gun regulation. Join community members on the front lawn of First Parish Church today, Saturday, June 11, at 4:00 pm for a moment of silence and the ringing of the Paul Revere bell in honor of the 21 victims of the Uvalde, TX mass shooting and all who have been affected by gun violence across the United States.

The First Parish Church is the stone church at the Intersection of Doom, 349 Boston Post Road.
