WFTA Sunday Walk – October 2 – Rail Trail and Jericho Woods

Join Weston Forest & Trail Association trustees this Sunday, October 2, at 2 PM for the first WFTA Sunday Walk of the new season, a 65-year tradition.

The walk will start behind Lamson Park near the Town Green, hike through woods down to the Rail Trail, under Concord Road passing by the murals painted by high school students, and dip into Jericho Forest. The trail walk will follow part of the path the Weston Minutemen took on their way to Concord in 1775. The afternoon’s fearless leaders will be Gail Palmer and Chris Jylkka.

Walks begin at 2 PM, rain or shine, and last 1 to 2 hours. Please check WestonForestTrail.org for walk details and any last-minute changes. Members, visitors, children, and dogs (on leash) are all welcome. Park on Townhouse Road next to Town Hall.

Get outside!

This is a leashed dog. In costume is fine.
