COA Artist Reception for Herb Randle – October 11

Council on Aging art exhibits are back after a Covid timeout, and begin with a showcase of a local Weston resident’s art. The fall show features highlights of Herb Randle’s portraits and landscapes from his 60-year career as a painter.
Today, Tuesday, October 11, please come for a reception in the artist’s honor from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm at the Council on Aging, 20 Alphabet Lane, on the garden level of the Community Center.
Herb is a fixture at the COA as a member of the COA Arts Council, a devoted participant in the COA art community, and a mentor to many. He has exhibited extensively throughout New England including the North Shore Arts Association, DeCordova Museum, and Florentine Frames in Weston. Herb has been a resident of Weston since 1964.
For an interesting look at Herb’s process and style in his own words, please see this Inside the Artist’s Studio produced by the Weston Media Center. Dear COA and AIC, the Owl asks for a master art class with Mr. Randle. After her current class at the AIC, she will for sure be at master level. Umm.
