Save the Date: Haunted Hospital at Weston High School October 29

For those among you who love scary movies and haunted houses, has the Class of 2025 got a (trick-or) treat for you–oh, fine, mostly for your kids. Announcing the Sophomore Class Haunted House, this year with the theme of “Haunted Hospital” in the hallways of Weston High School on Saturday, October 29 from 6-8 pm. A decades-old tradition, the Sophomore Class Haunted Hospital is the biggest fundraiser for the class– with funds raised earmarked for graduation fun (in two and a half years).

Both Owlets will be in the mix, along with the majority of the high school’s “bubble class.” The scares and spookies will be age-appropriate so don’t worry that your five-year-old will be meeting Freddy Krueger or something. No one needs that. As I’ve said before, I really think that last year’s suggested theme of “Honors Physics” was scary enough for all.

The Haunted Hospital has an extended story line which will be hinted at over the next two weeks. So far I have only seen the pilot episode. Trust me when I say that the scares are reserved for middle school-aged students and above–unless you don’t ever want to get your 1st grader in for an annual exam again. There is plenty to see and do for the littles, elementary school kids and scaredy ‘cats (like me)–games, costume fun, and of course, food. Someone said the word “TACO”–a Halloween food like no other.
