All Pumpkins All the Time: Beloved Pumpkinfest is Set for October 22

The annual Weston High School Pumpkin Festival will take place this year on Saturday, October 22 from 11-3pm on the Weston Town Green (rain date is Sunday, October 23). It is the 18th year for Pumpkinfest Weston. Run entirely by the Weston High School students (oh fine, there are some adult chaperones to make sure no pumpkins get launched at the JST), event proceeds benefit Camp Sunshine, a camp for young people dealing with terminal illnesses.

There will be many Halloween and fall-themed activities, including pumpkin carving, food sales, and a silent auction. Note that the high schoolers will gut those little pumpkins so you don’t need to worry about your preschooler’s mad knife skills.

Children can participate in a variety of activities including arts and crafts, wish cards, games and face painting.

Bring your family, choose a pumpkin, carve it with less-Ninja-knife-y things, and bring it home. Make sure you dress the littles in costume so they can test-run before their actual trick-or-treat!

If you are unable to attend this event and still want to support our students in their efforts to raise money for Camp Sunshine, please consider donating to the JustGiving page.
