Christmas Tree Lighting at St. Peter’s – November 27

All the holiday events are starting to fill in now heading into the merry season. Mr. Owl and I saw our first holiday lights on Merriam Street near Cherry Brook last night–still waiting for the tiny Christmas tree to be lit at the end of that street. No rush. Just saying.

In case tree lighting is your thing, St. Peter’s is the first off the mark with this information about their upcoming event on Sunday, November 27:

All are welcome to join St. Peter’s Episcopal Church for its annual Christmas Tree Lighting!  Please share in their tradition of gathering for an evening of celebration and fellowship with carol music and candlelit singing.

The Christmas Tree Lighting is on the Sunday after Thanksgiving, November 27th.  There will be a community salad and pizza dinner in the Parish Hall at 5:00 PM.  Following dinner, carols and singing will begin outside in the front circle of the church at 6:00 PM, concluding with the tree lighting.  The Church welcomes everyone who would like to participate in the festivities and joy of the season!
