Rotary Club Looking for Elves to Unload the Trees This Friday

The Rotary Club of Weston and Wayland is seeking elves (preferably those over 2 feet tall) to help unload the Christmas trees which are coming from the North Pole workshop and tree farm. Or Canada, you choose.

About 300 Christmas trees that will soon be for sale and heading towards your rumpus rooms need some muscle to get off the truck and into the tree lean-y wooden things. Your reward? Santa puts you on the nice list. Also, you get to smell evergreens, enjoy refreshments and chat with your neighbors.

Here’s the request from Rotary:

Who: You to help unload Xmas Trees on Friday, November 18th

What: Trees, trees, trees—arriving from Nova Scotia sometime Friday. Plus, refreshments, new friends to make, and plenty of fun!

Where: Land’s Sake Farm, 90 Wellesley Street in Weston

When: Friday: Time TBD—sometime between 11 am and 2 pm, depending on when the truck driver arrives

Why: The tree sale is the Rotary Club’s most important source of funding for their charitable work such as scholarships and conservation.

Please add your name/cell number/email to the Alert List. You will be sent updates on Friday as the driver sends the expected arrival time.

No obligation!! If the timing works for you, great. If not, enjoy the naughty list. Oh just kidding.
