String Sextet: Music at the Library Sunday, November 20

On Sunday, November 20 at 3 pm, please join your neighbors and friends for an afternoon of music at the Weston Public Library. The Library Music Committee’s 2022-23 season continues with the scintillating Sextets of Brahms and Tchaikovsky featuring members of the string section of the Brookline Symphony Orchestra: Amos Lawrence and Jane Kang, violins, Arjun Mudan and Merrick Nelson, violas, and Stephanie Wingfield and David Fisher, cellos.
Sextets are magnificent not only for the richness of design and melody but also for the striking accomplishment of maintaining six independent voices.
The concert is free and open to the public, and the Community Room is handicapped accessible. Covid precautions will be observed: masks are encouraged, and there will be space between performers and the audience.
