Weekend Ideas – November 18-20

It’s Thanksgiving-weekend-eve as well as World Cup-madness-begins weekend! Get your Hallmark cards and enjoy the ride.
Also, please note that if I have forgotten “your” event, please do let me know but in a nice way and possibly include a taco or cake. Not a taco cake because no one needs that.
Here’s what I have:
Friday, November 18

You have not lived until you have tried to herd a chicken. Show up at the farm at 6 pm sharp tonight. All the chicken catchers will walk to the Farm Meadow field together. Bring warm clothes, gloves, and headlamps. 58 Codman Road in Lincoln.

What will the Brits do? Film at 11. Literally. Check your local listings–and the Owl’s facebook page for scintillating, frequently inaccurate, and fun commentary. Va, Ecuador! If you need something relatable to Americans, please watch the Fox teaser with a cameo by TB12.
Music at the Library: Sextets of Brahms and Tchaikovsky, 3 pm. A wonderful musical escape to complete your last free weekend before the relatives descend upon you for Thanksgiving. Community Room, Weston Public Librrary. More information here.
