WFTA Monthly Walk: Sears Land and Melone Homestead December 4

Please join Weston Forest and Trail Association trustees on Sunday, December 4th at 2 PM to explore the Sears Land and Melone Homestead. Enjoy a special holiday treat and explore the history of the old Sears Estate. Walkers leave right from town green (so you have time to catch the Golden Ball Tavern Open House) and will then walk over the river and through the woods. Meet at the old watering trough on the green for a wonderful journey down memory lane.

The walk should last one and a half to two hours. All ages are welcome, as are well-behaved dogs on leashes. Walkers need not be Weston Forest and Trail Association members, but are encouraged to consider joining as dues support the maintenance of Weston’s trails and open spaces. WFTA has been hosting Sunday Walks for over 60 years.

Please be sure to check the WFTA home page for any last-minute changes or to become a member. See you out on the trails!

Weston Forest and Trail Association (WFTA) is dedicated to fostering the preservation and enjoyment of open space in Weston. It is a 501(c)3 and managed entirely by volunteers.
