Christmas Tree Pickup: Save the Date for January 7

While normally I would not post news of what to do with your post-Christmas tree until January the Class of 2023 has asked me to send out a save the date, as well as a call for volunteers and trucks. Pick-up trucks, specifically, but if you have a monster truck or a dump truck, feel free to get in touch.

The Class of 2023 will be holding its Christmas Tree pickup day on Saturday, January 7, 2023. You must reserve your tree pickup by Friday, January 6 or risk a shut-out. Last year, the pick-up sold out two days in advance leading several Weston residents to believe that you can chuck your tree on Conservation land. Note: it gets chucked back.

All you have to do is drag that puppy out to the end of your driveway by 9 am and leave it there. The fundraiser/pickup is open to all Weston residents. The cost is $30 per tree.

Please sign up at the link for the Christmas Tree Removal Fundraiser.

Payment of $30.00 per tree and any donations can be made HERE

  • There is a feature for guest checkout, so residents with or without students in the public school may both utilize the MSB system to make payments.
  • Cash will only be accepted from residents without students in the public school system. The exact change must be available at the time of pick up.

If you have questions or would like to volunteer to help, please contact Cindy Tanny at pa23ctanny@gmail.com.
