Madhubani Art by Anjana Bhargava at the COA: Reception January 25

The Council on Aging of Weston is celebrating the New Year with a colorful and beautiful art exhibit by Anjana Bhargava. Save the date now for an artist’s reception and talk on Wednesday, January 25 from 10:30-12. Please note that this exhibit will be hung around January 19 and is not yet open for viewing.

Come see the unique and beautiful Madhubani art created by Weston resident Anjana Bhargava. This Indian style of painting is done with a variety of tools, such as fingers, twigs, brushes, nib-pens, and matchsticks using natural dyes and pigments. Anjana is inspired by different mythological themes such as Indian cultures, historical characters, and beautiful colors of life.

The Weston Council on Aging is located in the Weston Community Center at 20 Alphabet Lane.
