Regis College Online Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program Ranked #4 in US

As everyone knows, Weston is home to Regis College, a wonderful higher-learning university right here on Wellesley Street. Many of us also know that it was founded in 1927 as a women’s college that went co-ed in 2007. It is well-known for nursing.

It must be said that occasionally Weston Forest & Trail has to clean up some Regis party palaces in the Highland Forest and that once a year at least, the college sponsors trail work for their Founders Day, when a team of students comes and helps build new trails and water bars. Regis also offers gym space, swimming classes (sometimes), a Twilight Meet satellite track, and a majorly nice theatre space to the public. One has to say we have a nice symbiotic relationship.

And now is the turn of the online side of Regis which has just been awarded the #4-ranked Online Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program in the whole of the US. You can learn about the award here and the methodology here. It is simply amazing the leaps forward in online schooling (“thank you”, pandemic) and advanced nursing degrees are now available purely online.

From the award materials: “Nurses can transition into pediatric care experts when they earn their MSN in Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) from Regis College. From diagnosing and managing ailments to assessing growth patterns, this online program prepares nurses to effectively engage with and treat children.”

Please note that Regis also has wildcats as their mascot–in this case, they are the Pride (fine, it’s lions and lionesses but close enough).

Go ‘cats!
