On March 3, Help Out WCL and the Greater Boston Food Bank

On Friday, March 3 from 9 am to 12 pm, the Weston Community League (aka Women’s Community League) will once again be volunteering as part of their service mission at the The Greater Boston Food Bank. With 15 volunteer spots available, the WCL has been unable to fill them all and the GBFB really needs the help. Please consider joining in for the three-hour shift. This is a wonderful opportunity to help others in need, and to end hunger together.
Mission of the Greater Boston Food Bank:
GBFB is the largest hunger-relief organization in New England and among the largest food banks in the country. Last year, we distributed 117 million pounds of nutritious food to people who struggle to have enough to eat. We are committed to increasing our food distribution to provide three meals a day to every person in need in Eastern Massachusetts while supporting healthy lives and healthy communities. The Greater Boston Food Bank is a member of Feeding America, the nation’s largest hunger-relief organization.
GBFB brings hope, success and dignity to hungry people across Eastern Massachusetts.
