Ultimate Frisbee Enters the Spring Sports Fray at WHS

.
Weston High School has a new spring club team: Ultimate Frisbee! Yes, it’s true that in addition to the nine varsity sports offered to our amazing high schools (including three co-op teams), we now have Club Ultimate Frisbee which we will just abbreviate as CUF (pronounced “CUFF-ee” like give me some “cuffee”). Fine, it’s not going to go with that acronym, and never ever reverse those letters. This is a family blog, folks, get it together.
This is a coed team and all skill levels are welcome. The only additional gear necessary is cleats (soccer or football cleats work well but NOT track cleats. I would add that if you are doing track, you can wear track cleats but then you’re not doing CUF because you’re doing track). Uniforms will be provided.
Coached practices are once per week on Fridays, from 3:45 to 5:30. There will also be captain’s practices throughout the week. Games are typically played once per week April-May. Away games will have school-provided transportation.
The season concludes with the MA High School State Ultimate Div III Championships which are all day on Sunday, June 4.
First practice is Friday 3/24 3:45-5:30 on Field 8 (located behind MS)
