April Madness Means Special Olympics Basketball at WHS April 2

.
Weston High School is one of four schools in Massachusetts hosting the 2023 Special Olympics Massachusetts Basketball State tournament on Sunday, April 2.
The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community.
Weston High School was inducted into the Special Olympics Massachusetts Hall of Fame in 2016 and annually hosts a basketball tournament for Special Olympics Massachusetts. The team line-up has not yet been finalized but will be available here shortly.
The WHS senior class has set up this online fundraising website for anyone who would like to contribute financial support to this great event. Their goal is to raise $3500 for Special Olympics–please consider contributing.
Good luck to all the teams!
