Lynda Goldberg’s Inspired by Nature at First Parish: Reception April 2

.
The Art Committee at First Parish Church in Weston welcomes award-winning artist and Newton resident, Lynda Goldberg, to the Rines Gallery for a spring exhibit celebrating the joy and wonder of the natural world. A reception with the artist will be held on Sunday, April 2, at 11:30 am at First Parish Church in Weston, 349 Boston Post Road.
On view through June 30, Inspired by Nature features monotypes (one-of-a-kind works on paper), monoprints, and mixed media works that convey Goldberg’s personal connection to nature and provide a unique lens through which to ponder the infinite creative possibilities in our surroundings. With curiosity and a sense of adventure, she uses natural and manmade materials and a variety of media to create evocative compositions.
Goldberg has exhibited in New England in both solo and group shows, and has received numerous awards. Her work is in many corporate, private, and non-profit collections in the U.S. and abroad. She is a member of the Monotype Guild of New England (MGNE), Nature Printing Society(NPS), Unbound Visual Arts (UVA), and Newton (NAA), North Shore (NSAA), and Rockport (RAA) Art Associations.
