Join the Community Chorus of Weston for their Spring Concert on Tuesday, May 9th at 7:30 pm at the Cambridge School of Weston, Mugar Center, 45 Georgian Road.  Tickets are available at the door.

The Community Chorus of Weston is a non-auditioned chorus that has been singing together since 1997. The CCW welcomes all singers–as they say in their promotional video if you can talk, you can sing!   After this concert, the group will start again in September leading up to the winter concert. Rehearsals are on Monday evenings–you can find out more at their website. A sneak peek of the program is below, and you can find the full program and notes at this link. Wade in the Water is one of my favorite spirituals of all time, and a highlight of Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre’s performances of Revelations. Alvin Ailey will not be at CSW, but you should be.
