Well, folks, here we are at the moment when many of our town’s residents return from OOW (Out of Weston) also known as MIC (Maine, Islands, Cape). Yes, traffic is going to be bad tomorrow morning, yes, the buses are going to be late, and yes, do not try to cross Route 20 on Wellesley or BPR after tonight. Impossible.

On the bright side, we’ll be able to party once more summer-style at Land’s Sake which is having a Welcome Back Weston party on Saturday, September 9, from 10 am to 3 pm. Come on down for fresh produce, live music, family-friendly activities, cute farm animals, and more! The event is free and open to all. If the parking lot is full, park across the street at Case Campus.

Here’s my suggestion: come out to cheer on Weston Boys Soccer against Northeast Metro HS at 11 am at Proctor Field (HS, 444 Wellesley Street) and then head over for LS afterwards. We do not have Messi here in Weston but we never ever give up. Go ‘cats.
