Weston Community League Fall Calendar: Food, Cocktails and Coffee

.
The Weston Community League (fka Women’s Community League) starts up its fall calendar with a new logo, new website, new activities and a call to renew your membership. For all of those items, you can head over to wclweston.org.
First up is Dining Around on Friday, September 8 at Ruth’s Chris Steak House in Waltham. I will admit I have not been back to RCSH since their pre-opening like a million years ago. It might be about time. The next event will be Cocktails and Conversation poolside on Thursday, September 14 and then a Welcome Back Coffee on Wednesday, September 27.
The Weston Community League is a non-profit organization with a mission to provide social, philanthropic, and educational benefits to the Weston community. Its scholarship fund is unparalleled. WCL established the fund in 1928 and has given $1.3 million in scholarship funds since that time. They are a bit supporter of METCO. You can check out much of their history as a club and as a scholarship supporter on their website.
Missing the Clothing Exchange!! JST empty…WCL could be in there again.
Me too. Don’t even get me started on it. Personally I think there is room for WCL’s clothing exchange, a Weston Boosters pop-up store and a taco stand but no one actually listens to me anymore. 🙂
