How to Initiate a Caregiving Conversation with Your Parents -Nov 8

So the Owl hesitates to even post this information because in about an hour (they live in the Central Time zone), she is going to get an email from one of the Grand Owls saying “What are you trying to say to us?” So to ward that off, the Owl would like to state for the record and the Grands, that this is general information for everyone and I’m not trying to say anything.
The Council on Aging is offering the following information session called “How Do I Start?: Initiating Caregiving Conversations with Your Parents” for those interested in how to make easier some tough conversations. On Wednesday, November 8 from 6:30-8 pm on Zoom , the Weston Council on Aging (COA) invites you to join eldercare consultant Dr. Julie Norstrand as she shares her expertise about preparing for caregiving to help avoid entering the role in crisis.
This session is optimal for the adult child who is noticing age-related physical and/or cognitive changes in an older relative. This is not easy, folks, and if you are noticing changes in your parents, know that there is help out there for you (and for them).
Contact the COA at 781-786-6280 to register.
