The PR machine is broken! I almost missed this sale and its timing could not be more perfect. Fortunately, there was a sandwich board downhill from the Intersection of Doom (which had a bad accident shut it down around 7 pm-I’ve sent the cub reporter to investigate). Communications by sandwich board–sometimes old school is best, no?

Last night was a hard freeze around here and it’s time for me to upgrade the scarf action. Also hats. Winter is better with a nice handmade hat.

Here’s the info on the Fiber Arts Annual Sale:

The Weavers’ Guild of Boston is holding its Annual Sale on Friday and Saturday, November 3 and 4! For the 2023 Sale, the Guild will offer shoppers a wide range of one-of-a-kind handcrafted items. These will include: scarves, shawls, clothing, blankets, rugs, placemats, towels, and more. The majority of the items will be handwoven, though knitted, felted, sewn pieces, and jewelry will also be available. In addition to showcasing the designs of our artisan weavers, Guild members will explain the weaving process with demonstrations on a hand loom.

Sat, Nov 4: 10am-5pm
