Rotary’s Christmas Tree Sale Starts November 24 at Land’s Sake

How in the world is it already time for Christmas trees? Wasn’t it just closing weekend at Valley Pond? What is actually going on here in this time warp of a year? In any case, prepare yourselves for the Owl’s usual rounds of encouragement to act, volunteer, shop and be local at this time of year. There are so many arts and crafts sales coming up–and the money goes to the artisans themselves instead of big corporate. Plus there is NO ONE who doesn’t need another ceramic pot. We all do. Also scarves. And Christmas trees that go to local hunger relief and other programs.

In any case, the Rotary club is 10 days away from starting its Christmas tree sale and 0 days away from asking for volunteers to help at the tree sale days as well as unloading the truck this Saturday. Let’s see if I can get some owlets out there rassling trees. See below for signup information and for sale information:

The Rotary Club of Weston and Wayland is back at Land’s Sake Farm for their annual Christmas Tree Sale beginning NEXT FRIDAY, November 24th. They will be selling trees every Friday, Saturday, & Sunday from 10am-3pm until the trees are sold out. Proceeds support Land Sake’s hunger relief programs as well as Rotary’s charitable projects.
