Cheese. on September 13th from 6.30 - 8.00 p.m. for ““A Tour of New England Cheeses” Kimi will offer a fascinating demonstration on all things cheese – making, choosing, storing and pairing. Featuring expertly curated local cheeses, their taste partners (including local honey and chocolate) and wine to complement each – this is a cheese lovers dream evening.

Life Love Cheese is a woman and minority owned business. We celebrate the producers, craftspeople, and makers that contribute to making a grazing board not just amazingly tasty, but also a joyful experience. GOLDEN BALL TAVERN 56th ANNUAL BARN SALE – SEPTEMBER 30, 2023

Join us for our 56th Annual Barn Sale on the grounds of our museum at 662 Boston Post Road, Weston. Admission is FREE. Held on the last weekend of September for over 50 years, the Golden Ball Tavern Museum Barn Sale is one of the oldest continually operated sales of its kind in New England. It is a perennial crowd pleaser and festive family event as well as a sure sign that autumn has arrived in New England. It is not unusual to unearth an unexpected treasure in the Barn!

The sale includes beautiful items donated by the local community who are moving, downsizing, clearing out the family attic and more. Household items and furniture in good condition, as well as fine antique pieces, are welcomed and prepared for the sale. Items include Household items, Antique and Contemporary Furniture, Oriental Rugs, Crystal, Art, Pottery, Jewelry, Vintage and Contemporary Porcelain, Original Artwork and Photography, Kitchenware, Holiday Items, Old Cameras, Old Books and More!

Think about repurposing, reusing or repainting the “gently loved” furniture and decorative items on sale in our Barn. Your purchases help support sustainability in our communities by contributing to what’s being called the “circular economy” – one that aims to keep products and materials in use!

Proceeds from the event are the primary source of funds for the on-going restoration and development of the Golden Ball Tavern as a museum and educational resource for the public, schools and for students of history and the history of architecture and the decorative arts.

Free tours of the museum will be available during the sale, times to be announced nearer the date. A Taco Truck might also make an appearance - TBD!

Donations! We gladly accept donated items to sell in our Barn Sale. Please call Rebecca Foley 617-513-5726 or email us at gbtmuseum@gmail.com to make arrangements. Your donations are tax deductible. Due to staffing and storage space we are unable to take large or heavy furniture items. We thank you for your understanding.

Volunteers! The Sale is staffed entirely by volunteers. If you’d like to join our devoted group, contact Rebecca Foley via email rebecca@foley.org or phone 617-513-5726. Volunteers choose their own schedule and assist in sorting, tagging, and arranging sale items and/or assist on the day of the sale. Our volunteers return year after year for the camaraderie and sense of satisfaction. Expertise is also welcomed!
