Merriam Barn Historic Site Improvements – 10 a.m. to noon

Join Weston Conservation Staff and WFTA volunteers to clear and beautify a section of the old foundation at the Merriam Barn Historic Site. This project will continue the good work started by Eagle Scout Holden Langenhagen last month to uncover and create access into the old barn site. Work will include clearing vegetation away from the stone wall face that runs along the access road to the Town Brush Dump.

How to Participate

No previous experience is necessary. We will provide all the know-how. To sign-up, contact conservation@westonma.gov. Children at least 13 years of age must have parental supervision, ages 16+ do not need parental accompaniment.

Bring work-appropriate clothing, no open-toed shoes, water and snacks, durable work gloves, and a good attitude!
