Weston Board of Health Offering Two Vaccination Clinics

COVID-19 Vaccine for Individuals Ages 5 and Up (Pfizer-BioNTech Vaccination)

The Town of Weston Board of Health is working with Transformative Health Solutions through the Massachusetts Department of Public Health to offer the 2 dose Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccination series, as well as booster doses to anyone who lives, works, or learns in Weston.

Where: Weston Community Center, 20 Alphabet Lane, Weston MA

When:  Friday, December 17, 2021, 2:00 – 5:00 PM

What:

  • First Dose Pfizer pediatric vaccine (preparation/dosing for 5-11 years old)
  • First Dose Pfizer vaccine (preparation/dosing for 12 years old and up)
  • Pfizer booster doses (for eligible individuals 18 years and up, for whom it has been 6 months since completion of primary series of either mRNA vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) OR 2 months since completion of Johnson & Johnson (Jaansen) single dosing.

Why: The CDC recommends everyone ages 5 and up is vaccinated against COVID-19. The vaccines are safe and effective. Learn more here or call your doctor or child’s pediatrician.

Additional Information:

  • Individuals will be vaccinated free of charge regardless of insurance coverage. If insured, please enter insurance information in the online registration. Once registered online there is no need to bring an insurance card to the clinic. 
  • A follow-up clinic for second doses will be held on January 8, 2022 in the same location, registration information will be provided via email to those needing to return at a later date. 
  • If you are coming for a booster please bring your vaccine card. 
  • Consent for minor children and full vaccine information is linked through the registration process. Please read and answer the screening questions carefully.
  • Parents/guardians in need of a booster are welcome to register; care for the family in a single visit!

COVID-19 Booster Announcement for Individuals Ages 18 and Up (Moderna Vaccination)

The Town of Weston Board of Health is pleased to announce that they are offering Moderna booster doses to anyone who lives, works, or learns in Weston.

Where: Weston Council on Aging, 20 Alphabet Lane, Ground Floor, Weston MA

WhenWednesday, December 15, 2021, 2:00-4:00 PM

What: Moderna booster doses against COVID-19 (for eligible individuals aged 18+ for whom it has been 6 months since completion of primary series of either mRNA vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) OR 2 months since completion of Johnson & Johnson (Jaansen) single dosing.

  • December 9, 2021 5:00 PM Update – Today the CDC strengthened its booster recommendations and is encouraging everyone 16 and older to receive a booster shot. The Weston Board of Health is working to expand capacity at the December 17, 2021 Pfizer clinic and will circulate an update as soon as possible. For the time being, the electronic registration will prevent registering 16 and 17 year old children. Thank you for your patience while we work to keep everyone healthy.
