Tour of Weston Town Green Trees – Postponed to April 5

Update: Due to the weather, this event has been re-scheduled to Friday, April 5 at 1 pm.

On Wednesday, April 3 at 1 pm, the Tree Advisory Group invites you to join Peter Del Tredici, retired Harvard botanist and urban ecologist, on a walk around the Town Green. Mr. Del Tredici will talk about the trees: how they fit into the
landscape yesterday and today, as well as future prospects.

On an irrelevent note, April is my favorite month because all of a sudden, people perk up and think well dang, I like trees; I’m a gonna get me some! Earth Day, Arbor Day, tree giveaways, tree planting, tree ogling (spring trees are the BEST–magnolias, redbuds, oh, freaking everything!). I’m having a really good day posting all of these events. I declare today happy Weston day. Why not? It’s probably already a holiday.

Moving onwards towards relevance: the group will meet in front of the Town Hall. Tree Advisory Group members invite all interested residents to attend.

In case of inclement weather, contact Carol Lee at carolsanalee@gmail.com about possible postponement.

Trees rule.
