Pianist May Phang at the Weston Public Library – Sunday April 7

As always, there’s lots to see and do and read at the Weston Public Library. For sure, they have the best event calendar in Weston, and it includes Art and Innovation Center (AIC) classes as well. Don’t forget the poetry reading tonight at 6:30 pm by two local poets, and the last of the WPL Music Committee’s 2023-2024 concert season on Sunday, April 7.

Pianist May Phang concludes the Weston Public Library Music Committee’s 2023-24 concert season on Sunday, April 7 at 3:00pm in the Community Room. Ms. Phang’s program will feature both well-known solo piano repertoire such as Schumann’s Romanze in F sharp Major, Op. 28, No. 2 and Liszt’s B minor Sonata, in addition to more contemporary works such as Marc-André Hamelin’s Etude No. 6, various works of Polish composer Jarosław Gołembiowski, and Curt Cacioppo’s Quiet Notturna.

The concert is free and open to the public, and the Community Room is handicapped accessible.
