WHS Fall Sports Player/Parent Meeting Tuesday, June 14

Every single maroon player here has graduated. Join Weston Soccer.

As everyone knows, the Owl is a HUGE fan of Weston High School sports, and while some of our spring teams are still in the hunt for state titles (boys and girls lacrosse and tennis), two are onwards at nationals (Wayland-Weston Rowing last weekend and girls track this weekend). If you missed Saturday’s boys lacrosse game’s last 12 minutes, well, you missed an amazing unbelievable comeback from 2-7 to 8-7. The best thing about spring sports is that weather is still good when it comes to final playoffs. Try not to think about those last November soccer games and cross country meets. You will love it then because you will be tired of the heat. Listen, you live in New England for a reason. I just can’t remember what that is every single February.

Now, it’s already time to learn about Fall Sports and Weston has a bunch. While the Owlets are soccer players, and encourage you to meet Coach Andrey tomorrow night especially if you are a back-up goalie or a striker (haha), you have much to choose from. In particular, those currently in eighth grade or new to the Weston school district or new to a sport are encouraged to attend. Here’s the info from Mike McGrath, Athletic Director.
